LINDA THORN

ANTIOCH, TN. – Linda Frances Thorn, 71, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Alabama and worked in food service for forty years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in the Nashville, Tn. area.

Services will be Saturday, March 7, at 12 noon at Harmony Baptist Church, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Charles Lansdell and Bro. Nathaniel Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Site Cemetery, Red Bay, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are one brother – David R. Thorn (Jona) Cherokee, Al.; two nieces – Katie Thorn Dennis (Frank) Nashville, Tn. and Sarah Thorn, San Antonio, Tx.; two nephews – Matthew Thorn, San Antonio, Tx. and Russ Thorn, Cherokee, Al. and one great-nephew– Johnathan Dennis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Betty Ruth Petree Thorn.

Pallbearers will be Norman Thorn, Herman Trulove, Randy Holland, Tom Wingfield, Frank Dennis and Joe Burns.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 10-12 noon, at Harmony Baptist Church.
Family and friends will have a meal at the church after the funeral service.
