GALVESTON — Rodney Wayne Richard, age 23, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 11, 1991. He was a graduate of Galveston Ball High School. Rodney was a role model and big brother to all who knew him. He would lend a hand to anyone who needed help, without hesitation. He was a loving father, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wilford Rodney Richard and Jack Friedman; grandmother Barbara Jablon; and his friends Gabby Kirst and Ricky Roa.
He is survived by his mother Shari Richard and Dale Bates; his father Roger Wayne Richard and fiancé Ann; grandmother Bessie Trahan; son Aiden Lee Jackson Richard; brother Jesse Ray Richard; aunts Lisa Kay Martin and Gale Lynn Arentz; and numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to service time beginning at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 2803 53rd Street, Galveston, Texas 77551.
