Leland Lindsey, 90, Crosby, ND, passed away Feb. 25, 2015 at St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in Crosby.

A funeral service was held Feb. 28 at Concordia Lutheran church with Pastor Zachariah officiating.

Burial followed at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in rural Crosby.

Leland was born Feb. 5, 1925, the son of Asa and Serene Lindsey. He was raised end educated in Plummer Township.

In 1944 he married Dolly (Knudsvig) Lindsey in Plentywood, MT. They raised four sons.

Leland worked for Production Service for many years before going back to farming. He retired in 2010. Leland enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Leland was preceded in death by his wife Dolly, son Dean, daughter-in-law Karen, granddaughter Tami (Lindsey) McDonald, parents and two brothers.

He is survived by sons Gene (Rubi) Lindsey, Williston, Daryl (Darlene) Lindsey, Crosby, Gary (Janette), Williston, nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Stakston Martin Funeral Home in is charge of the arrangements.
