He was a member of the American Legion, the German Club and St. Gabriel's Lodge, all of Pottstown.
He was the husband of the late Marie Presgrave Stauffer.
Born in Lancaster, he was a son of Virginia L. Anderson Stauffer of Elverson and the late Henry L. Stauffer Sr.
Surviving besides his mother are a daughter, Tamara L. Young of Pottstown; two sisters, Jerry Piloni of Pottstown and Diane Casserly of Elverson; four grandchildren, and a brother, Henry L. Jr. of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daryl.
