Rita C. Bronk, age 71, of the town of Sharon, died Wednesday March 4, 2015, at her home. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services. Rita was born on April 27, 1943 in the town of Sharon. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Balbina (Tryba) Bronk.
Rita attended General McGlachlin and Lincoln Elementary schools. Rita was a gentle soul, who enjoyed a peaceful life on the family farm. She liked shopping and attending area church picnics and local fairs with her brother, Tony.
Rita loved gardening and cooking and accumulated an impressive cookbook collection. She loved animals, especially cats and birds. Rita was also a music lover; her collection of polka and country music tapes provided her with much enjoyment.
Survivors include her brothers, Anton of Custer, Rhode (Maxine) of Morris Illinois, Myron (Joyce) of Schofield. Sisters, Georgianne (Ronald) Wilson of Plover and Violet (Dale) Voss of Amherst.
She is also survived by her nieces; Sue Wilson, Nikole Gaigg, Alison Bean, Jaime Voss and Katherine Prutzman. Nephews; Tyler Voss, Benjamin Bronk and Kelly Bronk.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sally Bronk, who passed away in infancy, Elsie Bean and Ramona Bronk.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 6, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Polonia with the Rev. Gregory Michaud officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
