Amy “Nikki” Allen, age 37 of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Nikki was a 1996 Graduate of Trinity Christian School, where she was also crowned the 1995-96 Homecoming Queen. She graduated from Middle Georgia College with a BA as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She was employed by Forsyth Street Rehab & Orthopedic Surgery. She loved her work family and her patients deeply. Nikki was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan and loved softball. She was a supporter of the Diamond Dawgs Softball team and loved watching her girls play ball.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Hilton Pope and grandparents, Charles and Frieda Harvill.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Allen of Dublin; daughters, Tinley and Laney Allen, both of Dublin; parents, Irvin and Debbie Pope of Dublin; sister, Mandy (Tom) Gilder of Glenwood; brother, Michael (Brittany) Pope of Dublin; grandmother, Sarah Pope of Dublin; nieces, Gracie and Maggie Wood of Glenwood; nephews, RT Gilder of Glenwood and Abram Pope of Dublin.
Services for Nikki will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Marie Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
