William Edd Goins, 85, of LaFollette, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at LaFollette Community Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Harbor Goins; five daughters, Mrs. Edna Ausmus, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Kate Goins and Mrs. Evelyn Guy, both of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Edith Kirkland of LaFollette; four sons, Simp Goins, Claxton, Max Goins, Knoxville, C. J. Goins, Baltimore, Md., and Oscar Goins, Groton, Conn.; two brothers, Simp Goins, and Alex Goins, both of LaFollette; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church by the Rev. Ernest Goins and the Rev. Fred Garner. Roach Mortuary, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
