Mrs. Margaret G. Dalton, 77, of Erwin St., died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 1996, at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory Chapel, with the Rev. Lawrence Clapp officiating.
A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Dalton retired from Sears after 38 years of service. She was a member of S. Elm St. Baptist Church, the Radie Lucas Sunday School Class, and the Carol Belch Missionary Circle. She was also a member of the Guilford Park Presbyterian Church Senior Citizen's Club.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Faye Dalton and Dennis Ivey of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Lois Poe of Bear Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John A. Dalton.
