Perry W. Harrison, 86, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005. He was born May 13, 1919, in Greensboro, Ga. Perry resided in Henderson for five years and also in North Las Vegas for 44 years.

He was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant who served during World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. Perry was an ordained chaplin/deacon with College Park Baptist Church and a member of the Retired U.S. Air Force Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theora Harrison; and son, Leon Harrison. Perry is survived by his daughters, Linda McDonough of Henderson, Caroline Planchon of Las Vegas, Lori Hylton of Montana, Kim Rogers Creekmore of Missouri, and Merilyn and Patricia Harrison, both of North Carolina; sons, Bobby Harrison of California, Jimmy Harrison of North Carolina, and Adrian Harrison of Montana; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchild-ren; and a sister, Frances Collins of North Carolina.

Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
