Elsie Marie Snodgrass McKibben, 84, a resident of Hobbs Health Care, was a daughter of Thomas S. and Vernie G. Snodgrass. She attended school in Monument, NM, and graduated from Eunice High School in 1948.
After the end of World War II she met and married Truman Wayne “Shorty” McKibben, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
She was employed primarily in school administration services. After their retirement from El Paso Natural Gas Co. in 1982, they enjoyed traveling across the United States with their trailering friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Survived by three children; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas E. Snodgrass (Mary) of Sunrise Beach, TX; and an aunt, Doris Foster of Houston.
