The former Julia Paulson, she was born Dec. 7, 1892 in Town of Arcadia to Mr. and Mrs. Hans Paulson. She was married to Charles Shelley March 6, 1916, at Winona. They farmed in the area. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Basil and Orrin, and home; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Hunter and Mr.s Amanda Everson, Whitehall, and four brothers, Peter and Oscar, Whitehall; Henry Pigeon Falls, and Carl, Bowman, N.D.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. L. H. Jacobson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Frederixon Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, and at the church after noon Thursday. A family devotion will be held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
