ODESSA -- Jim Coffee, 75, of Odessa, died Sunday, May 25, 1997, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland. He was born May 16, 1922, in Groesbeck, Texas, and lived most of his life in the Odessa area. He was the owner of Kem-Kil, Inc., for 35 years before retiring in 1987. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, a 32nd Degree Mason and El Madia Shrine Temple. He married Barbara Blakeney in 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1992, and his son, Mitchell Coffee, in 1990.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 1997, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Dr. John Rasco officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
