Services for Margaret Jane (Donahue) Naughton, DeWitt, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. Father Robert Harness will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Nelson Heesch Funeral Home, DeWitt. The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. with a prayer service being said at 7 p.m. by Sister Theresa Spitz.
Mrs. Naughton died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at DeWitt Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1924, to Joseph and Mary (Ritter) Donahue.
She married Ambrose Naughton on Oct. 10, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. She was a member of St. Joseph Altar and Rosary Society and a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include her husband, Ambrose; daughters, Mrs. Anthony Duncan (Jean Marie), Colcord, Okla., and Mrs. Charles Morel (Catherine Ann), DeWitt; sons, Mr. Patrick (Mrs. Peggy) Naughton, DeWitt, Mr. William Naughton, Olive Branch, Miss., and Mr. Michael (Mrs. Bekah) Naughton, DeWitt; nine grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Donald (Mary) McDermott, Clinton; and brothers, Mrs. Donald (Mrs. Dora) Donahue, DeWitt, Mr. Gerald (Mrs. Gwen) Donahue, DeWitt, and Mr. Frances (Mrs. Patty) Donahue, Grand Mound.
