Jesup, Ga. - Willie Houston “Bill” Manning, Jr., 71, of Jesup, Georgia died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness.

The Wayne County, Georgia native was a member of Manningtown Presbyterian Church and was a retired Waynline Employee who enjoyed playing, writing and publishing music. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was predeceased by sister, Sandra Sellers and brothers, Coyle and Doyle Manning.

Survivors are his wife, Sabrina Manning of Jesup, Georgia; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Grady Bazemore, III of Hortense, Georgia, Tonya Gaye of Jesup, Georgia; sons, Timothy W. Manning, Sr., Tommy Manning of Jesup, Georgia, Jeffrey Manning of Screven, Georgia; sisters, Shirley Droze of Summerville, South Carolina, Janie Miller of Waycross, Georgia; brother, Donald and Donna Manning of Hilliard, Florida; step-children, Henry Sapp, Jr., Malissie Solomon, Blake Dinsbeer, Kayleigh Dinsbeer all of Jesup, Georgia, Adam Sapp of Hortense, Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 A.M., Friday, March 6, 2015, at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Donald Houston Manning and Rev. Charles Manning officiating. Interment will be in Manningtown Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his family.

Mr. Manning will be taken to his residence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11234 Hwy. 301 South, Jesup, GA 31546.
