Larry Leon Posey, age 72, of Oklahoma City, passed away March 1, 2015. He was born July 13, 1943, in McAlester, OK, to Marion Leon & Cilistal (Mitchell) Posey. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. He was a strong Christian and loved the Lord. He enjoyed hunting and was a gun enthusiast.
Larry is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Posey; 1 son, Kevin Lloyd; 2 grandchildren, Alona Lloyd and Jillian Smith; 2 step-sons, Joel and Rick Albright; 3 nephews, Mitchell, Brandon and Cameron Bramlage; 1 cousin, Butch Steinsick; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and 1 sister, Sharon Kay Bramlage. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015, in the Pavillion at the Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jones, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
