Ernest Estel 'Runt' Brown, age 82, of Doyle, Tennessee passed from this life on October 29, 2002, in Sparta.
'Runt' was born on June 14, 1920, in White County, to the late Johnny 'Beecher' Brown and
Addie Elrod Brown.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and had been a factory worker.
Brown was preceded in death by his parents; his step mother, Louella Smith Brown; and
three brothers, Erbie Brown, Willard Brown and L.B. Brown.
Survivors include four sisters and one brother-in-law, Dorothy Brown, Lucille Henry, and
Alice 'Willene' and Willie 'Ray' Brown, and Ruby Brown (of Roane County);
two brothers and sisters-in-law,
Charles and Elizabeth Brown of Michigan and J.B. and Betty Brown of Tennessee;
three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mae Brown of Oregon and Ann Brown and Jackie Brown both of Tennessee.
Services will be conducted on October 31, 2002, at Hunter Funeral Home with interment in the
Corinth Cemetery. Bro. Danny Moore will officiate.
