Frances Evelyn Brizendine Blevins was born on January 27, 1925 in Black Oak, Arkansas to James Lathe and Josephine (Martin) Brizendine. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Frances lived in Arkansas and Fort Worth for a number of years before retiring to Brownwood several years ago. She enjoyed bowling and playing bridge. Frances attended Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her four children, Jo Lynn Cain and husband Denman of Brownwood, Tommy Blevins and wife Judy of Brownwood, Pat Bolls and husband Ron of Boerne, and Terry Blevins and wife Lahonda of Brownwood; six grandchildren, Tammie Seymore, David Cain, Kimberly Fisher, Jessica McMillian, Angela Torres, and Olivia Blevins; fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Eller Hardin of Hidgen, Arkansas.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life, Carrol Blevins, three brothers, Albert, Herman, and James Brizendine, and two grandsons, Denman Carrol Cain and Brian Blevins.
