Ken worked for many years in construction, both as a Finish Carpenter and a Master Electrician. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and woodcarving, creating numerous furniture pieces for his family. He loved and served God, his family and friends, and his church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Clara; three siblings, Robert Frank and his wife, Clara, Lillian Ramseyer and her husband, Ralph, and Edward Frank and his wife, Delores; as well as two brothers-in-law, Ivan Schmidt and Chris Pflederer.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Ann Frank of Waynesboro; his children, Janet Trauger and her husband, Rich, of North Garden, Virginia, Mark Frank and his wife, Neisha, of Austin, Texas, and Debbie Frank of Crozet, Virginia; three granddaughters, Brooke, Lyssa, and Kayla Frank, all of Austin, Texas; five siblings, Evelyn Schmidt, John Frank and his wife, Ellen, Norman Frank and his wife, Mary Ann, Ruth Pflederer, and Betty Frank; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening, March 5, 2015 at McDow Funeral Home.A service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Springdale Mennonite Church, officiated by Pastor Kevin Goertzen.
