NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – Nathan Rex Adamson passed away February 28, 2015. He was born on April 23, 1984 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald George and Pamela Jo Adamson.
Nate enjoyed everything outdoors – hunting, fishing, backpacking, and hiking. He loved sharing these experiences with his grandpa, dad, and his children. Nate’s favorite sport was hockey; although, he enjoyed playing soccer and baseball. He loved nothing more than to teach his children how to fish, ice skate, and play soccer. Nate and his family loved spending time together on road trips and vacations – Germany, California, Florida, Nevada, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Texas and many more.
Nate attended school in Farr West, graduating from Fremont High School in 2002. He also graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2014. Nate achieved his eagle scout and served a LDS mission in Switzerland. Nate served as a Davis County Sherriff’s Deputy from May 2007 to January 2014.
In July 2006, Nate married his love, Alison Mary Gamble and from that union two beautiful children were born – Kaiden Rex, born December 2008, and Keira Rose, born November 2011. Nate and Alison were later sealed for eternity in the Bountiful LDS Temple in 2009.
Nate was a guy that would do anything and everything for anyone. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, and friend that anyone could ask for. We all loved his mischievous and hardworking personality.
Nate is survived by his wife, Alison; his son, Kaiden and daughter, Keira; his parents, Ronald and Pamela; his siblings, Andrew (Crystal), Becky (Tobin) Chadwick, Gina and Candace; his grandparents, George and Marion Adamson; and an extensive family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews that will all miss him very much. Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rex and Helen Pugsley.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Farr West Stake Center, 2132 W 2700 N. Friends may visit with family on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd., and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment, Park Valley Cemetery, Utah.
