Eula V Palmer Simpson, 88, Lee's Summit, passed away on March 1, 2015. She was born in Purdin, Missouri, on May 9, 1926, and was married for 25 years to the late Herman Simpson. Loving mother of Sandra Hibbs, Stan Simpson, Jeff Simpson and Greg Simpson, mother-in-law of Mike Hibbs, Nora Simpson, Manfred Bahlmann, and Carla Simpson; grandmother of Paul Hibbs, Amber Stevenson, Lacey Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Hannah Simpson, and Jacob Simpson; and great- grandmother of Logan Stevenson and Michael "Blake" Stevenson. She worked for many years as a waitress at Waid's Restaurant in Lee's Summit and then Calmar, Inc. EulaV had many varied interests throughout her life, including gardening, quilting, reading and traveling. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 1:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1625 NW O'Brien Road, Lee's Summit, Missouri, followed by a celebration of her life at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens, Highway 50 & Harris Road, Lee's Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church where she was a member for more than 50 years.
