Death Takes Mrs. Cooksey At Age Of 90

Mrs. Lizzie Cooksey, pioneer resident of this community, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. M. Kincade, south of Moulton, Monday, at the age of 90 years. She had been in failing health for a long period of time.

Mrs. Cooksey was widely known in this community and by her kind nature had endeared herself to countless friends. Her passing not only brings sorrow to her immediate relatives but to others who admired this fine christian lady. Until ill health prevented she was active in community affairs.

In death she is survived by one son, C. B. Cooksey, of Montesano, Wash., and by a daughter, Mrs. E. M. Kincade with whom she had been living. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 2:00 p. m. in the Hilltown church conducted by Rev. W. F. T. Evans.

Burial will be in the cemetery nearby.
