She was a retired administrative assistant for WKYQ-WKYX for 28 years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she assisted in the Clothes Closet, and was a volunteer for the Homebound Seniors, St. Nicholas Family Clinic and Hope Unlimited. She was a volunteer with RSVP, among many other things.
Surviving are a daughter; two sons; a brother and hia wife; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Marie, and one infant son, Jess W. Conkwright. Her parents were Robert David Myers and Margaret Myers McGinnis.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Kenneth Brown and Dr. Harold Council officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
