Betty Lee Morgan, 88, passed away at 1:26 am Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 26, 1927 in Roxana, IL, the daughter of Herman and Ila (Worthy) Kopp. She married William Douglas Morgan October 25, 1967 in Edwardsville. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1969. Betty was the owner and manager for apartments. She was the organist at Word of Worship Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and James Null of Bethalto; a son, William D. Morgan II of Wood River; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Spencer (Theresa) Giles, Derek (Shannon) Weeks, Pearl (Tony) Ramillosa, Ilafaye Weeks, Brandon Null, Christian Bazoian, William Morgan III, Emerald Bazoian and Sean Morgan; great grandchildren and their spouses, Samantha (Jeremiah) Weeks-Beck, Darien Weeks, D.J. (Jamie) Weeks, Drew Weeks, Morgan Weeks, Chase Weeks, Zack Ramillosa, B. Ramillosa, Sierra Ramillosa, Jacob Ramillosa, and Addie Morgan; two great, great grandchildren, Noah and Elijah Beck; her siblings and their spouses, Norman (Brenda) Kopp, Virginia Kopp, Glendora Hines, Charlotte (Larry) Colbert, and Jimmy (Mary) Kopp and her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Bazoian and two brothers, Billy Kopp and Charles Kopp. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday, March 6, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Simon officiating. Burial will be private at Woodland Hills Cemetery in East Alton at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hope Center.
