Aug 19, 1911 - May 16, 2006 Arlene C. Porter, age 94, passed away May 16, 2006 in Colorado Springs. She was born August 10, 1911 in Hoytsville, UT to Lyman and Emma (Spackman Hall) Crittenden. Arlene was a registered nurse. She married Richard V. Porter November 24, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT. Richard preceded Arlene in death in 1993. She is survived by her son, Richard V. (and wife Natalie) Porter, Jr.; sister, Pauline Hinnen of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Kara (and husband David) Bensfield of Indiana, Ryan (and wife Alyson) Porter of Idaho, and Tami Porter; and one great-granddaughter, Cambria Bensfield. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Liberty Building, 8610 Scarborough Drive, Colorado Springs. Visitation will held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19th at the Shrine of Remembrance and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20th at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Arlene's memory to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 East Pikes Peak Ave., Suite 600 Colorado Springs, CO 80903
