The old year closed with a sad scene in the household of Dr. J.R. Horn. The soul of his little daughter, Kate, winged its way to that bourne from whence no traveler returns. The deceased was but little over a year of age, and had been a great sufferer for many months. On Friday the interment was made in the family burying ground at New Providence.
