Mrs. Sarah Alice Hawkins Massey, 85, of Canon, GA passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Brown Health & Rehabilitation in Royston, GA.
Mrs. Massey was born on December 11, 1929 in Anderson, SC, daughter of the late Claude Hawkins and the late Susie Wheeler Hawkins. She was a homemaker and member of Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Jean (Ron) Miller of Canon, GA and Sherry (Buddy) Eason of Canon, GA; brother, Don Hawkins of Anderson, SC; sisters, Shirley Donalds and Judy Bailey, both of Anderson, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Dwight Massey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church in Canon, GA with Rev. Brad Thompson and Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour and immediately following the service in the social hall.
