Professional Hockey Player. A native of Vermillion, Alberta, he began his path to professional hockey with teams in Edmonton, Victoria and Tacoma before joining the National Hockey League's New York Rangers (1930 to 1931). He returned to the western leagues the next season with stops in Portland (1931 to 1932) and Edmonton (1932 to 1934). He returned to the east in 1934-35 to bounce between the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and minor league teams in Windsor and London. He stayed on one more season with the London Tecumsehs before returning west in 1936 to 1937. Kenny played out his professional career in Oakland, Spokane and Seattle. Away from hockey, Ernie eventually settled in the London, Ontario, area, where he became the Western Ontario Sales Manager for Canron Ltd. He passed away in 1970 at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in St. Thomas, Ontario.
