Robert E. “Rolly” Fogle age 52, of Cumberland, OH passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at his home. He was born February 7, 1963 in Cambridge, OH a son of Hazel Hayes Fogle of Caldwell and the late James W. “Jim” Fogle.
Bob was a member of St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Moose Lodge #221, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2952, VFW Post #4721 all in Caldwell and the Belle Valley American Legion #641. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and watching NASCAR. He was formerly employed at the American-Marietta Corp., then went on to become the Owner and Operator of Bob’s Pallets.
He could often be found socializing with friends over a card game. He enjoyed attending his son’s school activities and especially loved watching them play basketball. His sons were his life and he was Angela’s best friend.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers Gary “Harold” Fogle and Donald W. “Stoggie” Fogle.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother are; wife Angela Carpenter Fogle of the home; 2 sons Zachariah and James Fogle both of Cumberland; 2 sisters Cindy (Jeff) Yunk of Caldwell and Annette (Mark) Allen of Cambridge; 1 brother Dennis “Whitey” (Debbie) Fogle of Caldwell; father and mother-in-law Steve and Sandra Carpenter of Caldwell; sisters-in-law Katie (Will) Childress of Newport, OH, Brieann (Eric) Reiter of Caldwell, and Joyce Fogle of Fulda, OH; aunt Kathy Carpenter of Caldwell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Vigil Service held at the conclusion of visitation at 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday March 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery
