Orangeburg - Mrs. Marie Austin Davis, wife of Harold H. Davis, died Thursday at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of Mrs. Jessie Cherry Austin and the late C. Wesley Austin. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and was employed at the First National Bank. Surviving are: her husband; one son, Richard Davis, a student at Clemson University; her mother of Orangeburg; fours sisters, Mrs. E. J. Ayers, Mrs. Chester Sain, Mrs. Pat Kelley, all of Orangeburg, Mrs. D. L. LaCombe of Sumter; two brothers, Eddie and C. W. Austin Jr. of Orangeburg. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 9 Feb 1968
