He had been employed at the Meigs County garage for 18 years. Mr. Spencer was a member of the Racine United Methodist Church, the Eagles Lodge of Pomeroy, the Racine Lodge 614, F&AM, and the Racine Grange.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; a step-daughter, Mrs. Betty Jackson, Salem; three brothers, Charles of Florida; Bob of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and Harry of Racine; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Coe and Mrs. Maxine Wingett, both of Racine; two grandchildren, Daron and Billy Jackson.
Services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m., in the Ewing Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Norris and the Rev. Freeland Norris officiating. Burial will be in the Letart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
