Nancy (Suttle) Fulton, of Green Cove Springs, Fla., passed away Saturday, Feb 21., 2015, in Green Cove Springs, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Mrs. Fulton was born June 8, 1931, to the late William Blaine Suttle and Mildred Henninger Suttle, in Greensburg, as the eldest of two children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Frank Earl Fulton. Mrs. Fulton is survived by her brother, William B. Suttle Jr., of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and her four children, Susan Knox and her husband, John, of Jeffersonton, Va., Janet Fulton and her husband, Robert, of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Patricia St. Clair and her husband, Steven, of Jeffersonton, Va., and Frank Fulton Jr., of Apollo Beach, Fla. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Olivia, Alexandra, Jacqueline, Marissa, Jenna and Spencer. Mrs. Fulton graduated in 1949 from Greensburg High School, in Greensburg, where she excelled in academics, sports and dance. After graduating, she began her career in banking and finance with the Barclay Bank. After meeting the love of her life, Frank, on a blind date, they married in 1958. They shared an interest in water-skiing, boating, University of Pittsburgh sports, gardening and their family. In 1969, they relocated to Fairfax, Va., where they continued to raise their children. They also expanded their family to include golden retrievers, a few cats, and multiple horses. Nancy returned to work at the National Bank of Fairfax in Centreville, Va., as a teller. She later moved to George Mason Bank where she held many positions. Her favorite task was training new staff as her love of people made her the perfect choice to work with the young recruits. Nancy became the branch manager and vice president of the most profitable branch in the bank - no doubt due to her exceptional customer service skills and radiant smile. She continued her career with the George Mason Bank until she retired in 1996. After retiring, her work was not done. She and her husband, Frank put down roots in Jeffersonton, where she volunteered countless hours with the Culpeper Baptist Church, the Clothes Closet and the local Food Closet. An active member of the Culpeper Women's Club, she donated her time selflessly. At home, she tended her gardens as well as the gardens of her daughters. She especially loved working at Wollam Gardens, where she took great joy in carefully tending young plants and watching them grow. She loved cooking everyone's favorite meals, especially for her grandchildren, reading, crossword puzzles and staying up on current events. After the passing of Frank in 2006, she divided her time between Virginia and Florida and maintained active membership at Culpeper Baptist Church in Culpeper, Va., and McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Fla. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at FOUND AND SONS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 850 SPERRYVILLE PIKE, Culpeper, Va. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West St., Culpeper. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Union Cemetery in Irwin. Donations may be made to the Paul F.
