James Perry Neff, 70, state highway department engineer who directed construction of Pocatello's Ceneter at subway and Gould St. viaduct of Hayes Aven., died Tuesday in a Pocatello hospital of a short illness.
Mrs. Neff was born Feb. 8, 1875 in Johnstown, Pa., a son of John and Sarah Lundberg Neff. He went as a young man to Utah and to southeastern Idaho 26 years ago from Utah. He married Margaret Reynolds Feb. 6, 1914, in Salt Lake.
