He was born July 22, 1916, at Lepanto, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Estella Robertson Carson; wife, Georgia Carson; two sisters; three brothers; a grandson; and a son-in-law.
Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Fires and Guanna Combs; son, John Henry Carson; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with burial in Nichols Cemetery at Marked Tree.
