Mrs. Peel died November 23, 1967, in a Provo rest home of natural causes.
A life-long resident of this community (Mt. Pleasant), she was born here September 11, 1880, a daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina C. Morrison Ericksen. She married Peter Azel Peel March 18, 1906, in the Manti temple. He died February 14, 1954. She was an active member of the LDS Church, served on the stake Relief Society board, was a visiting teacher many years, and was a teacher in Primary and MIA, was a member of the Mt. Pleasant camp of the DtUP.
The mother of four daughters, two survive, Mrs. Neil W. (Alice) Hafen, Mrs. Clair W. (Barbara) Tuttle, both Mt. Pleasant; 3 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Harry G. Ericksen, Mrs. S. M. (Florence) Nielsen, both Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Chesley P. (Gladys) Seely, Salt Lake City.
