Martha Elizabeth Bentley, age 86, died late Saturday, February 28, 2015.

Services will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel on Pio Nono Ave. with Pastor Willie Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave.

She was born in Macon, Ga. on Oct. 15, 1928, to the late Willie Lee Minshew and Annie Lou Leverette. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Lewis Bentley, daughter Beverly Mitchell, and seven brothers and sisters. She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered for her courage, her good - natured spirit and her compassion for others.

Survivors include a son Cecil Bentley (Gretchen) of Athens, Ga.; five grandchildren, Travis Trimble (Rachel) of McDonough, Ga., Jessica Wilder of Macon, Samantha McClung (Chris) of Decatur, Ga,, Katie Bentley (Shaun) of Lincoln, Vermont, and Michelle Bentley Clarke-Foos (Arlo) of Dearborn, Michigan; six great grandchildren and many devoted nieces and nephews.

Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave. has charge of arrangements.
