Mabel A. Hoyt, 90, formerly of 1407 N. Fourth St., died at 2 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2000, at Pekin Manor.
Born Nov. 3, 1909, in Pekin to George C. and Katherine Zimmerman Pollman, she married James C. Hoyt on July 29, 1935, in Mexico, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 1994.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Janice (and Carl) Frazier of Pekin; two granddaughter; and one sisterm Ruth Pollock of Indianapolis.
She retired from P.A. Bergner’s Pekin store in 1968.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Dwight Borden will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Noel-Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
