He married Alice Whitbread/Whitbred, on November 10, 1600 at Upper Gravenhurst, co. Bedford, England. His brother, Richard was a sucessful haberdasher (linendraper) in London and the Gerrard Spencer family probably moved to London some time before his decease.
Four of their sons, namely William, Thomas, Michael & Jared/Gerard immigrated to America after 1630.∼~MY ANCESTOR~
The daughter of JOHN LAWRENCE & ELEANOR(RADCLIFFE) WHITBREAD, she married GERRARD SPENCER on November 10, 1600 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedforshire, England.
