Funeral Services for Mrs. Fay Kreger, 95, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lester Ames officiating, assisted by Rev. Cordell Hines. Interment will follow in the Ravia Cemetery. Mrs. Kreger passed away on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 at the Blue River Health Care facility in Tishomingo.
Fay was born on May 19th, 1919 in Daisy, Oklahoma to W. A. Waller and Mary (Sliger) Waller. She attended Coleman and Fillmore schools and later married Lex Kreger on July 15th, 1937 at the "old" Johnston County Court House in Tishomingo. Mrs. Kreger was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Johnston County. She was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1996, two brothers, Marvin and Loyd, an infant sibling and two grandsons, Barry Trimble and Brandon Kreger.
Mrs. Kreger is survived by her daughter, Paula Griswold and husband John of Bracketville, Texas, her son, Donnie Kreger and wife Barbara of Tishomingo, two sisters, Wanda Pitts of Augusta, Georgia and Theresa Bonsal of Mineola, Texas, five grandchildren, Rick Kreger and wife Tammie, Susan Holt and husband Sam, Lisa Renbarger and husband Randy, Linda Sue White and husband Floyd and Asa St. Clair and wife Tammy, twenty-three great-grandchildren, thirty-two-great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be Mrs. Kreger's grandsons.
