Stephen Thomas McDaniel, 58, a former resident of Conroe, Texas and a lifelong resident of the Orange-Beaumont areas, passed away on Saturday February 28, 2015 in Orange, Texas.

Stephen was born in Houston, Texas on February 7, 1957 to his parents John Wilson McDaniel and Willie Bee White McDaniel.

He studied at Word of Faith Bible School which he used the learned knowledge to encourage other people about Jesus Christ. Stephen enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and music mainly Blues and Rock. But, his greatest passion was spending time with his grandchildren whom he dearly loved. Stephen was retired from Exxon Mobil bmp.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Frona Rachelle McDaniel; three siblings and his step-father who raised him, Richard Allen.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Allen McDaniel; daughter, F. Marie Collins; brothers, Dickie McDaniel, Max McDaniel, Jimmy McDaniel and wife Edie, Johnny McDaniel and wife Lee Ann, Carl McDaniel and wife Mary Katherine, Steve Allen and wife Karen, Robert Allen and wife Debbie; sisters, Oleta Westfall and husband Stewart, Kaitlyn Allen, and Patty Allen; and seven grandchildren.
