Mrs. Alice Caroline Simpson Kirk, 19, bride of a month, died suddenly Saturday at the family residence. Death is believed to have been caused by heart trouble. She had been in ill health for a year, but had prepared breakfast and lunches Saturday morning for two brothers who were working in the beet fields.
Edward Kirk, whom the girl married about a month ago, is in California on business. H planned to return soon and take his bride to Texas. Mrs. Kirk's mother died last April. Her father is convalescing from an injury to his foot.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by six brothers and one sister; Francis and Sherman Simpson Spanish Fork; Harold Simpson, El Paso, Texas; Melroy Simpson, U. S. Navy, San Pedro, Calif.; Robert Simpson, Weiser, Idaho; Gordon and Ruth Simpson, Mt. Pleasant.
