Canonsburg, Feb 5--Mrs Mary VanEman Grant wife of Robert L Grant died this afternoon at 3:45 o'clock in her home 139 West College street. She had been seriously ill for the past three weeks with pneumonia.
Mrs Grant was a daughter of James J and Margaret VanEman and was born in Canonsburg where she had spent her entire life. She was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church and of the D A R.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughers, Margaret VanEman Grant and Dorothy Jean Grant; two sisters, Mrs Ella V Hopper, of Canonsburg and Miss Maude VanEman of Los Angeles, Cal. and two brothers, Samuel L VanEMan and J J VanEman, both of Canonsburg.
Funeral services will be held in her late home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Oak Spring Cemetery.
