Mrs. Lucinda Madsen Gunderson was found dead at her home late Tuesday, from a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Gunderson was born in Mt. Pleasant, November 4, 1869, a daughter of the late Bishop Niels P. and Wilhelmina Kruse Madsen, early Utah settlers.
She was married to Gunner Gunderson November 11, 1891. Mr. Gunderson died July 16, 1921. They lived in Chester, Beaver and Ephraim, where Mr. Gunderson was engaged in farming and dairying, and in the creamery business. they had made their home in Mt. Pleasant the past 43 years.
Surviving are five daughter, Mrs. LaMar Dunn, and Mrs. Retella G. Barrett of Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Miles Sorensen of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Allthea Poulson of Sweets and Miss Louise Gunderson of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; seven brothers and four sisters, John K., William E. George G. Alonzo P. and R. L. Madsen; Mrs. J. C. Jordan and Mrs. C. H. Eatinger, all of Mt. Pleasant; Edgar Madsen and Mrs. Albert Remund of Murray; Ephraim A. Madsen of Fairview, and Mrs. M. A. Boyden of Seattle, Wash.
