Graveside services for Joe Mullins, 79, Temple, Georgia, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Baptist Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Mullins died February 27, 2015, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1935, at Bakersfield, Missouri, to John William Mullins and Madge Bertha Holland Mullins. He graduated from Bakersfield High School. Mr. Mullins was a veteran, having served with the United States Army.

On June 30, 1995, he was married in Cobb County, Georgia, to Patricia Gilles. He was a supervisor at Bankhead Enterprises and the owner of Import Engine Exchange. He enjoyed softball, bowling, gambling (especially slot machines), gardening, taking care of his farm animals and working on cars and farm machinery.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mullins, of the family home; one daughter, Patsy “Pam” Mullins; four step-children, Rick Brandt, Lisa Brandt, Gina Austin, husband, Bret and Laurie Brandt; one granddaughter, Jodi Mullins; seven step-grandchildren, Zachary Nalley, Lindy Jenkins, Allie Adams, Ivy Austin, Christopher Adams, Emily Adams and Joey Brandt; three step-great-grandchildren; six brothers, Gene Mullins, Jack Mullins, wife, Beth, Billy Mullis, wife, Connie, Rex Mullins, James “Gib” Mullins, wife, Melba and Chuck Mullins, wife, Diana; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, first wife of twenty-six years, Winnie Mullins and one brother, Bob Mullins, precede him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
