Dennis Goodman of Campbellsville, son of the late Lonnie Dennis Goodman and Violet Deeming Goodman was born January 21, 1937 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:30 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Campbellsville.
Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired employee of Brown –Williamson Tobacco Company.
He united in marriage to Grace Colvin March 18, 1983.
Besides his wife, Grace Goodman of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Janet Lee Thompson and husband Mark of Louisville and Michael Dennis Goodman and special friend, Debbie McCary of West Plains, Missouri; one granddaughter, Samantha Hawkins; one great-grandson, Dereck Hawkins; two sisters and four brothers: Pauline Goodman, Etta Rae Goodman, Lonnie Goodman, Butch Goodman, Gary Goodman, and Glen Goodman all of Louisville.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Evelyn, Dorothy and Corrine.
