Mr. Ashworth passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Louis Elmer Ashworth and Agnes Thompson Ashworth.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mr. Ashworth loved to squirrel hunt, garden and just be outdoors. He enjoyed helping others, spending time with his family and watching westerns.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Hardegree (Danny), of Ashland; sons, Tim Ashworth of Equality, Chad Ashworth Alexander City, Adam Ashworth of Goodwater, Steve Johnson (Tammy), of Tallassee, Scott Johnson (Julie), of Pratville; brothers, Randy Ashworth of Goodwater, Barry Ashworth (Bobbie), of Goodwater. sisters, Gerri Forbus (Rex), of Goodwater, Judy Smith (Ben), of Goodwater; Ten Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Budd Ashworth; parents and sister, Patsy Cox.
