Mr. McCain passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 7:28 AM in a Lafayette care facility.
Mr. McCain was a longtime resident of Anahuac, TX, where he was a member of Anahuac United Methodist Church. He retired after many years as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Mae Stewart McCain of Lafayette; sons, Johnny Johnson of Pierre Part, Robert Johnson of Rye, TX, Rocky McCain of Wallisville, and Carl McCain and wife, Evy of Duson; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Catherine Chandler of Panama City, FL.
Preceding Mr. McCain in death were his parents, Harry C. McCain and Ethyl Huggins McCain; brother, Reese McCain; and sister, Margaret Blalock.
Duhon Funeral Home, LLC of Rayne has been entrusted with arrangements.
