Michael Lee Vest, 48, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 9, 2008.

Mike, the son of James and Iris Vest, was born on June 25, 1960.

He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Wayne Daniel.

He is survived by his son and daughter, Samuel Roberts and Samantha Wee; three grandchildren; his mother; one brother; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was a member of the Restoration Branch of the RLDS Church his entire life, and enjoyed his time spent at services and with church members.

He was in the car detailing business for many years in the St. Joseph area and enjoyed his work.

His joy in life was his family; and he was known for his generosity and honesty.

Mike was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, July 17, at 7 p.m. at the Restoration Church, St. Joseph, Mo.
Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
