Obituary of Mrs. Judy Weir Ryan

Judy Weir Ryan of Orange Grove, age 65, born on January 20, 1950 died on February 27, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott Henry Weir, Sr. and Margaret Cunningham Weir of Meridian, MS, as well as her brother, Elliott H. Weir, Jr. and her precious daughter, Heather Allen Ryan.

Judy is survived by Patrick Michael Ryan, her husband of 41 years; grandson, Braden Dalton Ryan; spouse of her brother, Anna Katharine Wilson Weir of Austin, TX; niece, Ashley Weir of Baton Rouge, LA; nephew, Elliott Weir, III (Carrie) of Austin, TX; as well as a nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, friends, students and acquaintances.

Judy was a wonderful woman who spent 35 of her years as a teacher for the Harrison County School District. She graduated from Mississippi State and loved her Bulldogs. Judy enjoyed reading, spending time with family, her dog Dallas, and watching her favorite soap opera, “All My Children.”

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Bradford-O’Keefe on 1726 15th Street in Gulfport with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507
