Services for Betty J. (Hudson) Heady, 57, of 5680 W. Isom Road, who died Tuesday evening at the Bloomington Hospital following a long illness, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at Day Mortuary in Bloomington with the Rev. Mark Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Born July 30, 1927, in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Doyle “Pat” and Iris (Davis) Hudson. She had worked at RCA Consumer Electrics Corp. for 40 years and was a member of the Dellsville Pentecostal Church and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 1424.
Survivors include her mother of Bedford; one stepdaughter, Dorene A. Waldrip of Springville; one brother, Dwight D. Carmichael of Springville; one sister, Ruby Summers of Edwardsport, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Harry Hudson. Friends may call 2-9 p.m. today at Day Mortuary.
