WAUKEE - Gail "Pug" Mullen, 83, of Waukee died of a heart attack Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial at Waukee Cemetery.
Mr. Mullen was born in Ogden and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a retired employee of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.
Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn; one son, David of La Mesa, Calif.; one daughter, Judy Davidson of Tustin, Calif.; one brother, Ted of Cedar Rapids, Texas; one sister, Vera Blount of Fairfield; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
